Beeluda
That is the name of the interesting dessert concoction that M came up with the other night. We were cooking dinner and he took out a small pot and announced he wanted to make some “Beeluda. Arp and I had not idea what that was, so we functioned as assistants as M told us how to help him. Pictures and the recipe follow…
M didn’t really measure ingredients (he must take after me), so I’ve estimated as best I can.
Put about a cup of water in a small pot.
To the water add:
- 1 peeled and chopped ripe pear
- A few handfuls of Kettlecorn
- A sprinkle of cinnamon
Simmer on a low heat until some of the water evaporates and the pears are tender, 10-15 minutes. Serve like a dessert soup, in bowls.
