Not that I am unfamiliar with the world of blogs & content management systems, but 2 years ago I decided against it in favor of Textpattern due to a seemingly more dynamic user base, but Wordpress is nothing short of amazing now. I'm more than impressed about what's possible with Wordpress, especially since I dissed it in favor of Textpattern a couple of years ago, and again passed over it while re-evaluating it about 9-12 months ago.
