I think we are in trouble this year. Last night, as I cuddled with M when he was going to sleep, we talked about Santa and Christmas. He is so excited about Christmas this year! But the thing that I am worried about is that he is determined this year to see Santa and to verify that the reindeer actually fly. I told him that we would be sleeping when Santa comes, but he confided to me that he planned to stay up and peek out the bedroom door as soon as he hears Santa come. And he assured me that Santa wouldn’t know he was awake and waiting for him. How am I going to get M to sleep on Christmas Eve? I think we better wrap all the presents well in advance (last year we just did it while he was sleep on Christmas Eve) and be ready to all go to sleep together that night.
