Signs of Spring

15 March 2007 2 views No Comment

Yesterday was lovely. It was nearly 70 degrees and the first day this year that I’ve gone without a coat or hat. The kids and I spent lots of time outside while I dug around and tried to find some signs of Spring.

My chives are sprouting up in the herb garden I started last year.

And in case you missed it, a tiny spider sitting on one of the blades.

J happily stomped through the puddles, modeling her brother’s technique.

And finally, M posed on what I hopefully named “The last snow mound of the Winter”.

I just read the weather report. We are due to get somewhere around 6-12 inches of snow and sleet in the next 24 hours. Darn it. Looks like we’ll be building the duck house on snow come Sunday.
