Arp on TV?

April 2nd, 2008 by Arp

On Monday, Mo Rocca stopped me in a park in the East Village.  I noticed him standing with a cameraman, pointedly trying to ignore me as I walked towards.  I realize that my sexiness knows no bounds, and Mo being a fragile human, he had a hard time looking away.

As I walked past them, he sprang into action and accosted me.  The exchange was probably forgettable.  If he was still with the Daily Show, I can see John Stewart making fun of me.

Mo: Excuse me sir.  What were you just thinking?

Arp: I was thinking what the hell are you doing here?

Mo: No, no!  Before that?

Arp: That the economy is going to hell.

Mo:  Really?

Arp: Yeah.  Like the US is a house of cards and all that.

Mo: Thank you.

It’s better than my one actual appearance on TV.  I was on the high school bowl team, specifically for having more arcane knowledge since my two partners had the usual stuff (president stats, etc) covered.

The problem was that I had stage fright and didn’t answer questions that I actually knew.  So when I finally got the gumption to answer an art question, I buzzed in and said Wyeth?  That was my tv career so far.  Maybe Mo can jumpstart it.
