I just over-caulked a window with brown caulk. Now I suppose when it rains, it'll look like running frosting! Home projects are fun though. PS - about the cockroaches -they've done this in my new home near San Jose since I've moved in - I'm betting on the ritual that kills them as I've tried no chemicals.
