It didn't seem bothered by us at all either. Definitely a good first experience with a venomous snake. We'll see what we find in CR, where snakes aren't the only venomous creature. Totally! It's amazing how ingrained that snake fear is, which I suppose is good. But I also love snakes. Once I got over the initial adrenaline rush, I really appreciated what a beautiful snake it was. My first rattler in the wild - wow! I'm kind of relieved that J and M have a healthy fear. I want to know that they will be smart about it in CR.
