A quick rundown of what we saw at the beach

25 February 2009 4 views One Comment

Yesterday we took a daytrip to the Pacific coast, to Punta Leona (a resort that offered an easy day with access to pools, showers & a restaurant as well as the beach). We were awed by the wildlife, all within 3 feet of water:

  • a big, 1 1/2 ft yellow (?) snapper
  • a beautiful, 2 foot wide spotted ray
  • a school of puffer fish
  • some gorgeous blue & brown spotted fishes
  • a giant (1 1/2 ft) blue speckled fish caught by a spearfisherman
  • brown pelicans

We also caught a small flock of scarlett macaws from afar.  And some bright yellow and red butterflies.  It’s really amazing to see such wildlife!

Welcome! I’ve been delayed with brake issues in welcoming you!!!!

Driving – anxiety will lower after six months. It was like the same time I felt more comfortable in my Spanish too. Don’t know why, but happened that way. Otherwise, it’s so much about patience and letting go and not an easy thing to do, even after my decade here.

Ants…..a friend just told me a house with them means it has good energy. Imagine the bliss you’re in!
