Good luck with your birth! Are you using a midwife in Cocles, or going unassisted? I’d love to hear who your provider is. Back when we were searching for homebirth midwives in CR, we ended up staying in the Central Valley for the birth because we couldn’t find a midwife in the Caribbean. Wow. Thank you for sharing this! Would it be okay if I directed some of my students to this post? (I teach prenatal classes.) We were talking about spontaneous vs directed pushing tonight, and I love the way you talk about what you were feeling. I also think it might be interesting for first timers to hear a woman musing about how her previous birth experiences influence her choices in subsequent births. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
