I don’t know what’s up with Baby B, but it is seriously exhausting me. She nursed literally all night long, with only two brief episodes of fitful sleep. I hardly slept at all.

While I enjoy co-sleeping, I’m not one of the lucky ones that is generally able to fall right back asleep while still breastfeeding. I’m usually pretty much awake while nursing B, then I usually detach her and put her back in the center of the bed before I fall back asleep myself. For me, sleep doesn’t come easily on a night like last night, when B nursed constantly. I’m very cranky. I hope I can nap later.

I have a feeling B is still teething. Two months ago I started complaining about teething. There’s still no tooth, yet I think B goes through a temporary teething episode every few weeks. There’s nothing wrong with her – no illness that I can find. But every so often she gets highly cranky and wants to nurse up the wazoo. I really hope this tooth emerges soon, and that the following teeth manage to exit much more quickly!
