I enjoy sleeping with my kids. Sometimes I see their faces in the moonlight, sleeping peacefully and feel very fortunate and lucky that they are my little ones. Not that I wouldn’t mind some extra room, but my ideal solution would be a king-size bed. Our kids can leave the bed when they’re ready, and we see that happening with M. Actually, I overheard it last week.
J and I were in the big sandbox. A parent sees their approximately 2-year old toddler do some kind of mild misbehavior, and the parent says, somewhat jokingly, “(Child’s name), stop that! Do I have to come over there and punch you in the nose?!” Who says that to a child? I was horrified. But I’m sure this won’t be the last time I see something at the park that disgusts me.
